How do you stop a program from initiating at startup?
Q. Whenever I start my PC a load of my programs open and appear in the bottom right-hand tray. Can someone tell me how to change which programs initiate at startup?

A. Go to "Start" Go to "Run" Type in "msconfig" Click "OK" Go to "Startup" tab Select programs you want or don't want to load when you boot your machine You might have to restart your machine after doing this

How do I get my belkin wireless 802.11n USB adapter to auto connect to network on startup?

A. If you are using windows vista this is how its done: 1.Go to ur start menu then go to connect to. This is a list of all the networks near you. 2. Right click on your network and go to properties. 3.click on connection tab ..then check the "connect automatically box is checked. Hope that helps>..let me know how ya get on

How to control the startup applications as they start when i logon on windows?
Q. Please answer me urgently as this problemis making my pc slower and it takes too much time to start. The startup apps consist of messengers and different PC suites so please help me.

A. Here is what you do: Select Run from the start menu Type "msconfig" without the quotes then click on the Startup tab from there you can uncheck what you dont want starting up but be careful what you are unchecking hope that helps
