If you're making a stuffed animal make sure to stitch it up really tight and make it out of some tougher material so it can't get to the stuffing inside. If you notice any signs of wear and tear make sure to get rid of it. Tubes made of PVC pipe are great because they offer lots of tunneling options, are easy to clean, and are resistant to chewing. Corrugated plastic drainage tubes work well but make sure to check for bite marks. Dryer tubes work well also. Finally my ferret enjoys playing with plastic bags by rolling around on them. Just make sure she isn't eating them or staying inside of them for long periods. You don't want your pet to get blockages or suffocate.
