I am thinking of putting braces but would like to find out more what happens during the procedure of putting braces.Actually i wanted to put it sooner..but i heard that the dentist will jab my gums..so guys..can anyone tell me the exact procedure? It is up to the orthrodontist if those teeth need to be pulled. If they are permanment teeth then most likely no. If he did pull them out then there would be nothing that would grow back. The procedure of braces is really that simple. First they will put spacers in your mouth. Spacers are like little rubber bands that they put in your teeth so the braces go on easier without pain. I can't say how many you will because it is different for everybody. Sorry! Then in the next week you will go back. They will remove the spacers and take an impression of your teeth. Depends how much of a tool your boss is but you also try 5 minute wanders about the office every hour or so to 'stretch your legs'. I don't think that's unreasonable, as sitting still for hours on end definitely is not good for your health and may well be good for you boss since you'll have less sick days. It should also increase your alertness and as a result your productivity. You say you cant walk to work but perhaps you could drive most of the way then walk the last 15 minutes, they'll give you 30 minutes a day.
