If you had a period, a real period that lasted 3-5 days then it is impossible for you to be pregnant. During your period the uterine lining is shed. That's where all the blood comes from. If you were pregnant this could not happen because the embryo is implanted in your uterus. So if you had a period, you can not be pregnant. It is possible to have spotting during pregnancy though, so if your period was unusually light or only lasted a day or two, then it is still possible that you could be pregnant. Your chance of it is higher since you didn't use protection. If you are not sure then take a pregnancy test. That's really the only way to find out.
