Are files "$RECYCLE.BIN,DESKTO P.ini,System volume information" a virus? I use Win 7 Home Premium on laptop.?

I tried Avira and Norton Internet Security to scan my computer, but the results were positive, saying there was no virus. However, my computer is slower than before now in booting and running. The best is Kaspersky. But it's down right now. Get all your patches and fixes from Microsoft update. Maybe you need to empty your recycle bin every now and then. One last thing you should do, Click start, Type in the box chkdsk Click on it. Let it run. It will replace… [cont.]
