Which is a dimension or assumption of the marginal-utility theory of consumer behavior?
Q. - Goods and services are free. -The consumer has a small income. -Each consumer has clear-cut preferences for goods and services. -Goods and services yield continually increasing amounts of marginal utility as the consumer buys more of them. which one of them is the right answer?

A. The last one. The wording sounds tricky because it says "increasing" amounts when in fact the overall desire by the consumer decreases with each unit but that is encompassed in the "marginal utility" verbiage. For each additional unit of desired good, the consumer does with less and less. There is a marginal or diminishing effect on the consumer.

Political leadership or hard worker honest people taking care of family??
Q. In this dreadful election season, many politicians have promised to "lead us into the future." I can hardly think of a worse fate for any society than to be led into the future by the political class of gangsters, marauders, looters, and liars. Even the most honest and well-intended among them are powerless to improve the world in any way except by diminishing rather than increasing their power. Politicians haven't the capacity to lead whole societies anywhere. They are outclassed and outrun by trends in the world economy that are beyond the ability of the political class to control or direct. The market economy globalized, enormously powerful, breathtaking in scope and breadth is remaking the world in ways that far surpass any existing… [cont.]

A. The concentration of wealth & power in a few hands that is used to further concentrate wealth & power is at the heart of the worlds problems. Thus leaving most people to face a life of struggling just to get by. It isn't about taking away any thing from any one but to see that every one can be rewarded fairly for their efforts. If the problem of how the pie is sliced isn't solved in a rational way there will be those that will use unrational ways to change the systems. The belief that more wealth in your hands will make the world a better place to live in in the long run isn't going to work. It isn't all of the materials things that make life worth living. When you go down this road you find that you are still not truly happy. It… [cont.]
